Maureen Dever MSN, CRNP, CDCES, PCPNP-BC has been a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes since 2000. She graduated with her MSN, CRNP-Pediatrics from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, and her RN, BSN in Nursing from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Maureen is also Board Certified as a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist.
Maureen started her career in Endocrinology and Diabetes at St. Christopher’s Hospital from 2000 until 2016. She worked in Diabetes Research at Novo Nordisk from 2016-2017 and has been at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes, from 2017 until present and works primarily in the CHOP Diabetes Outpatient clinic. Her interests include Type 1/Type 2/atypical diabetes, diabetes technology, adolescent mental health screening and growth. Maureen also serves as adjunct faculty in the Nurse Practitioner Program at Drexel University. Maureen is an active member of the Pediatric Endocrine Nursing Society (PENS) and has been a board member in the past. She is currently the Chair of the PENS Education Committee. She is also a reviewer for the Journal of Pediatric Nursing.
