Megan Pruett, MSN, CPNP
Megan Pruett, MSN, CPNP has been an endocrine nurse practitioner for over 15 years at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in both the diabetes clinics and the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center. She is an experienced diabetes clinician and cares for oncology and hematology patients with endocrine disease, and cancer survivors with endocrine late effects. She is a consulting provider for the fertility preservation team, offering counseling and interventions for children at high risk for future infertility. Her clinical interests include standardization of care for acute medical concerns in children with diabetes, and program development to support experimental fertility preservation in the hematology/oncology patient population. Her research focuses on impact to ovarian reserve with exposure to heavy metal chemotherapy, and other factors influencing AMH in pediatric cancer survivors. Megan is currently serving as a co-chair for the PES Advanced Practice Providers Special Interest Group.
