The Pediatric Endocrine Society (PES) is committed to protecting your privacy and developing technology that gives you the most powerful and safe online experience. This Privacy Policy governs data collection and usage by PES and applies to its website, other platforms used to facilitate management of the services provided to you (e.g., conference registration sites); and any additional means by which you share your information to PES. PES collects personally identifiable information, such as your e-mail address, name, user name, professional title, home or work address, telephone number, ID numbers, CVs and grant information. We retain the Personal Information we collect from you for as long as the information is relevant to our business purposes or until you request that we remove the data by contacting PES at the email or address detailed below.

There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by PES. This information may include: your IP address, browser type, and other software or hardware information. This information may be used by PES for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the PES website.

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through PES discussion boards, Job Board or other areas of the Members Only section where information may be provided, that this information may be collected and used by others.

PES also uses your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from PES and its affiliates. PES may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.

PES may sell, rent or lease its membership list to trusted partners to send you email or postal mail about a particular offering that may be of interest to you, or may provide your data to arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to PES, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

PES secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. PES secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of industry-standard encryption.

Changes to this Statement

PES will occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect company and customer feedback. PES encourages you to periodically review this Policy to be informed of how PES is protecting your information.
