In December 2019, the FDA announced approval of Tandem Diabetes Care Control-IQ™ Technology. Control-IQ Technology on the t:slim X2™ insulin pump can adjust basal insulin delivery and deliver automated correction boluses using Dexcom G6 continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) values. It is currently approved for patient ages 14 years and older.
