Katie Flass, PA-C
Katie earned her undergraduate degree from Colorado State University in 2005 and a master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Colorado’s CHA/PA program in 2010. For the past six years, she has specialized in pediatric endocrinology and diabetes at Logan Health Pediatric Specialty Clinic in Kalispell, Montana, providing compassionate care to children and adolescents with a variety of endocrine disorders. Katie finds joy in supporting her pediatric patients through various stages of their growth and helping them to manage their chronic health conditions.
A pioneer in telehealth services, Katie has worked to improve care accessibility for rural patients and has spearheaded community outreach initiatives, collaborating with healthcare professionals across Montana to ensure timely access to specialty care. She has also co-founded a local diabetes camp medical committee and dedicates her summers to organizing and supervising the camp in Lakeside, Montana. As a preceptor, Katie mentors Advanced Practice Providers and has guided PA and NP students from institutions such as Montana State University, the University of Colorado, Duke University, Johns Hopkins University, and Pacific University. She is an active member of the Endocrine Society, the Pediatric Endocrine Society, and the American Diabetes Association.
Currently, Katie is collaborating on the development of a pediatric endocrine-focused educational curriculum for new advanced practice providers at Logan Health. Outside the clinic, she cherishes time with her husband and two daughters, exploring Montana’s great outdoors through biking, hiking, and skiing. When at home, she enjoys reading, sipping coffee, and playing the piano.
