Nichole Towns, MSN, CPNP
Nichole Towns, MSN, CPNP has served as a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner on the Pediatric Endocrinology team at Levine Children’s Hospital-Concord since 2021. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Valparaiso University and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner in primary care pediatrics for 15 years before transitioning to pediatric endocrinology.
She currently practices in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her clinical interests include the treatment of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, thyroid disease, menstrual disorders, growth disorders and abnormal pubertal development. She has been involved in initiatives to collaborate with local school nurses to improve diabetic care for students, organize diabetic support groups, and develop thyroid and hemoglobin A1c pathways for primary care offices. She has also given lectures on diabetes and thyroid disorders to local APP groups.
She resides in Salisbury, NC with her husband, Erron and their children, Connor and Jillian.
