She is currently involved in multiple quality improvement initiatives, including incorporating objective fitness assessments into routine diabetes clinical care to create an evidence-based algorithm for the optimal management of pediatric type 2 diabetes.
Lauren holds a pioneering role as the primary clinical provider for Texas Children’s Hospital’s Screening and Intervention for Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) Delay clinic.
