Alex Nella, PA-C, RD, CDCES
Alex Nella is a physician assistant working in pediatric endocrinology at UC Davis Health in Sacramento, California. As a relatively new PA, earning certification in 2021 after attending the PA program at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis, Alex draws knowledge from a 12-year career as a pediatric dietitian and diabetes educator. He is proud to work with the endocrine team that he called home prior to becoming an advanced practice provider. Alex specializes in treating pediatric obesity and type 2 diabetes within a multi-disciplinary clinic. When not in the clinic, Alex is supported by his wife, Erin, who is a Senior Neuroscience Dietitian, and his 18-month-old, Giada, who is a professional handful.
