The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester is seeking a board certified/board eligible Pediatric Endocrinologist to join the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology. The candidate would join four other pediatric endocrinologists and three NPs who provide inpatient services for the Golisano Children’s Hospital and outpatient services for a catchment area of approximately one million persons. This full-time position would include clinical care, teaching of residents and medical students, as well as other academic pursuits and research opportunities. Flexibility in negotiating specific responsibilities will afford the candidate the latitude to tailor this position to specific interests.
Golisano Children’s Hospital employs more than 200 pediatric specialists serving more than 85,000 children and their families each year. It serves as the referral center for all seriously ill or injured children from the 17-county Finger Lakes region and beyond. The current 124 bed children’s hospital opened in 2015 and includes a 68-bed NICU, a 22 bed PICU, and a 16 bed Cardiothoracic ICU in addition to regular inpatient units
The Department of Pediatrics is consistently in the top 20 pediatric departments nationwide in NIH-funded research.
