About Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital

The Division of Endocrinology & Diabetes at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (JHACH) in St. Petersburg, Florida is seeking a fellowship trained pediatric endocrinologist for our expanding team. Our program is part of All Children’s Specialty Physicians, a growing group practice at JHACH that includes more than 200 physicians. The Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes Program provides the full spectrum of evaluation and treatment services for children, teens and young adults with a wide variety of pediatric endocrinological problems. Care will be provided on our main campus in St. Petersburg with a possible rotation to one of our outpatient care centers in the region. The division has recently opened the Gender Affirming Care Clinic. This clinic is multidisciplinary in nature and focuses on transgender and gender expansive youth. A pediatric endocrinologist with demonstrated interest/experience in transgender care would be ideal.

JHACH is a 259-bed teaching hospital ranked a “Top 50 Children’s Hospital” in 8 specialties by the most recent US News & World Report rankings (2020-2021) including Diabetes and Endocrinology.  We provide expert pediatric care for infants, children, and teens in the community - and around the world - who are facing some of the most challenging medical problems. We are the only US hospital outside the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. region that is part of the Johns Hopkins Medicine family.

The ideal candidate is expected to provide clinical care for both inpatient and outpatient endocrine patients and work on program building of specialized patients. The ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment is essential and we also place a high value on leadership qualities. This position will focus on providing clinical care, but physicians may be eligible for an academic appointment at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (academic rank is open and commensurate with experience).

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including medical malpractice insurance (tail insurance), relocation assistance, paid vacation, paid time and expenses for CME, 403(B) retirement plan, pension plan, short and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and health benefits.

Tampa-St. Petersburg is a wonderful place to work and live, offering abundant cultural and recreational activities, sports venues, excellent schools and an affordable cost of living. We are centrally located to many of Florida's amenities, only minutes from the beautiful gulf beaches, with easy access to Orlando and Miami.
