The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Endocrinology, in the College of Medicine at the University of Kentucky is seeking candidates for an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor to provide quality subspecialty care. MD, DO or degree equivalent and board eligibility/board certification in Pediatric Endocrinology are required.

The Pediatric Endocrinology Division is currently staffed with a team of five pediatric endocrinologists and two Advanced Practice Registered Nurses. The division is part of the Barnstable Brown Diabetes Center which includes a pediatric endocrinology clinic, adult endocrinology clinic and an outpatient diabetes education facility.  In addition to clinical care, the division is actively involved in clinical, translational and basic research.

The selected candidate will provide clinic-based and remote patient care to children and adolescents. The faculty member will serve as an attending physician for the pediatric endocrinology service, supervising a team of students and residents, to provide on-call coverage. In addition, this position will also contribute to the education of future physicians by supervising students and residents assigned to pediatric inpatient and outpatient services. Research and academic opportunities are also available.
