| The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Louisville and Norton Children’s Medical Group is seeking a full-time faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Our thriving group of 10 endocrinologists includes a strong support staff of nurse practitioners, nurses, diabetes educators, psychologists, sports physiologists, social workers and child life specialists. We are particularly interested in candidates who have an interest in providing clinical endocrinology and diabetes care, as well as assisting the Division in developing and advancing areas of specialty care. This position will focus on clinical care responsibilities, but will also include limited medical education and divisional research recruitment commiserate to accomplish individual and division goals.
The major criterion for appointment is excellence in endocrinology and diabetes clinical care. • The successful applicant should be eligible to practice medicine in Kentucky, and be board certified/eligible or the equivalent. • The successful candidate will be expected to support recruitment for clinical research, care for patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders, and be involved in the education of fellows, residents and medical students. • Specific rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. |
