The Department of Pediatrics, University at Buffalo (UB), Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and Oishei Children’s Hospital of Buffalo are recruiting a full-time faculty physician in the Division of Endocrinology/Diabetes.

The ideal candidate must hold a medical degree and be board certified in both pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology.

The candidate will provide clinical care for children and young adults with endocrine disorders and both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.

This position does include outpatient care in our newly remodeled dedicated outpatient center as well as satellite clinics in the Western New York region. Additionally, there are inpatient clinical duties and teaching responsibilities for medical students, residents, and fellows. Interest in quality improvement and clinical research is encouraged.

The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology/Diabetes is a busy practice with 6 BC Pediatric Endocrinologists and an ACGME accredited fellowship program. The division sees approximately 8,000 patients per year. We are an active clinical research division participating with TrialNet, Type 1 Diabetes Exchange, and the Pediatric Diabetes Consortium. UBMD Pediatrics is one of 18 practice plans within UBMD Physicians’ Group, the single largest medical group in the area, and we are supported by 14 pediatric subspecialties. Our physicians also make up the academic teaching faculty within the Department of Pediatrics at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo.
