Session Title Primary Ovarian Insufficiency in Pediatric Cancer Survivors 

Brief Description 

Ovarian dysfunction is a frequent late – effect in pediatric cancer survivors- however it is important to understand how ovarian secretory function and reproductive function are affected differetnly. We will discuss utility of markers for fertility prognostication, when to refer to repro-endo, and recommendations for counseling patients. Cases will be presented and an expert panel will help facilitate discussion.

Dr. Jennifer Levine 

Dr. Levine is the Medical Director for Survivorship and Supportive Care at Children’s National Hospital in Washington DC. Her clinical areas of expertise are in leukemia, lymphoma, and the late effects of cancer treatment. Her research interests have primarily been in the field of oncofertility.
