Lipid SIG Algorithms

Lipid management algorithms were developed by SIG members as a resource for use in clinical care and trainee education. Relevant guidelines were applied in the development of decision trees for lipid management in patients with diabetes, elevated LDL, or elevated triglycerides. The algorithms were reviewed by the Lipid SIG group members and further modified after receiving feedback. These algorithms were featured in a recently published review article. They are applicable to the care of patients with lipid disorders, diabetes, and/or obesity.
