SUMMARY:Industry Sponsored Symposia: Assessing New Therapies and Lifelong Management Strategies for Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia
DESCRIPTION:Industry Sponsored Symposia: Assessing New Therapies and Lifelong Management Strategies for Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia \nDate/time: Tuesday\, August 18\, 2026 from 1:00 – 2:30 PM ET \nDescription: This CME symposium equips clinicians to deliver lifelong\, patient-centered care for individuals with congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH). Faculty will review the mechanisms\, efficacy\, safety\, and tolerability of current and emerging therapeutic options\, highlighting advances that may reshape glucocorticoid management. The session will emphasize shared decision-making strategies tailored to developmental stages\, including best practices for transitioning pediatric patients to adult care. Participants will also learn to design comprehensive\, evidence-based care plans that address the long‑term metabolic\, cardiovascular\, reproductive\, and psychosocial sequelae of chronic glucocorticoid exposure—even after dose normalization—to optimize outcomes across the lifespan. \nLearning Objectives: \nEvaluate the mechanisms\, efficacy\, safety\, and tolerability profiles of current and emerging agents for CAH\nIntegrate SDM approaches for patient management across the lifespan\, including the transition of pediatric patients to adult care\nDevelop comprehensive\, evidence-based care plans to address the long-term sequalae arising from chronic glucocorticoid exposure in CAH\, even after dose normalization\nCMEs: \nPHYSICIAN CREDIT DESIGNATION STATEMENT\nMed Learning Group designates this virtually live activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the virtually live activity. \nNURSES (ANCC) CREDIT DESIGNATION\nMed Learning Group designates this activity for a maximum of 1.5 ANCC contact hours. \nSponsored by the Med Learning Group

SUMMARY:Clinical Endocrinology 2026 Course
DESCRIPTION:The objective of this course is to provide an update for endocrinologists and to allow internists and other health care providers to be comfortable with clinical problems in endocrinology. A faculty of 49 speakers\, primarily Harvard Medical School faculty and several select outside experts\, chosen for their recognized educational and communication skills\, present the most up-to-date\, evidence-based approach to endocrine problems such as osteoporosis\, type 1 and type 2 diabetes\, hypercholesterolemia\, pituitary tumors\, menopause\, thyroid abnormalities\, and reproductive dysfunction\, as well as a broad spectrum of other clinical problems in endocrinology\, such as obesity. Each day is organized around one of the major topics to be covered: pituitary disease on Saturday; calcium and bone disorders on Sunday; diabetes and metabolic disorders on Monday; reproductive and adrenal disorders on Tuesday; thyroid disease on Wednesday. Special emphasis is given to the case study method in 90-minute problem sessions on Sunday\, Monday\, and Tuesday. Two of these sessions will include a nurse or nurse practitioner to provide a nursing perspective on the topic. A comprehensive syllabus is provided; all companies providing educational grants are acknowledged in the syllabus and thanked during the Welcome & Introduction session. \nFor more than 50 years\, this update in Endocrinology has been presented by the faculty of the Endocrine Division of Massachusetts General Hospital\, joined by guest speakers from around the country.
